Dutch Conceptual Artist Hans Jochem Bakker as a self taught undergone remarkable development. Seine Begeisterung für die Werke von Dalí, Miró und Picasso veranlasste ihn dazu, auch deren favorisierte Themen aufzugreifen. Bakker greift dieses südliche Temperament in seinen Werken auf und er hat seine besondere Vorliebe für Stierkämpfe, Vögel, Pferden und Frauen, die wiederholt in seinem Werk auftauchen.
